The Wynona Riders

"J.D. Salinger" CD (Lookout!)

This is more like it - songs about suburbia, being fucked up and young, punk rock love and the like, all served up with a dash o' humor, especially on their cover of the "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" theme song. They also toss in a few more covers - Kim Wilde's "Kids in America" and a reworked version of "The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle." This is an album for the alienated, the dispossessed, the freaks, fuck-ups and people who just don't fit in. Dance on the concrete ruins and rock out. The day is coming soon.
